  Edna born on October 7th ,1925 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

  Married Mackinley Pineo around 1950 and moved to Montreal , Quebec where she lived for nearly 10 years.

  Gary born June 21,1954 and adopted by edna the next day. She knew the biological mother and was waiting for Gary to be born. 'thanks mom'

  1960- With an end to her marriage , Edna moved back to Halifax nova scotia , and moved in with her sister Marjorie and family in spryfield.. working at spryfield taxi as a dispatcher ,for a short time and then meeting and marrying Gerald Christian, moved to Sambro, near the ocean with her son.

  moved from sambro to harrietsfield in 1973. This was to be the family home until 2007

  1977 Gary married and moved to Dartmouth n.s .

  1979- First grand child born, Edna became the very proud grand mother to laura lee, july 26th, 1979

  June 1st, 1981, Edna became Grandmother to Robbie. She was soon a busy woman.

  1986- Son Gary and family moved to Grand Manan Island N.B, edna known to travel with her dogs on the 6 hour trip for visits.

  1987- on father's day , June 21st, and also on Gary's birthday , the last grand son , Christopher was born.. non stop from here on out.

  1998, august 21, Gerald passes away in Halifax due to complications from congestive heart failure.
